Error #4; wrong email or password

I just bought the beta through steam, and when I launched it (using my account details that I used to log onto this page) it says #4; wrong email or passord. I reset my password and it still comes up with the same error. Any ideas? Thanks

You have to use email or password from our website to login game and you have to activate your key.

Have you tried loggin into the official website with your new account? http://il2sturmovik.com/ If you can log in there but the game won't let you in then there might be an issue on their end. If you can't log into either it's probably a password issue.

Good luck sorting it out, let us know if and how you solve the issue.

I'm having the exact same problem.

I'm able to login through your website just fine without any problems, but when I try to login on the login screen in the game, it's telling me that my email or password is wrong.

Something isn't right here...

Try this:

1. Login to your existing account at https://il2sturmovik.com
2. Open new tab and login web Steam page and login
2. Leave page open while logged in and start your steam BoS game
3. Click the autogenerated !callsign on the right
4. Choose Register New account which opens a Steam login page
5. Login with Steam credentials (if requested)
6. Should get a Success message

It did help myself however, who showed up 6 years later and encountered the same problem! Thanks for the info @Lapsi

FYI: Since 1C Studios is based in Moskau, I will take this moment to say that I have quite credible information that Vladimir Putin is currently conducting a warcrime-level invasion on Ukraine, which is incidentally far from being a Nazi country (I'm from Germany, we, unfortunately, are experts on the subject).

Достаточно зайти в интернет, и увидеть как Украина использует запрещенные знаки начиная со свастики. Может быть вы и "эксперты" в этом вопросе, но мы эксперты в решении. Хоть ваш комментарий и написан когда все только начиналось, но надеюсь спустя время вы и сами открыли для себя истину что не все так, как вы написали выше
