Stuka?
Hi guys, me and my friend are having trouble managing the engine on this plane. Our main problem is getting enough power, even with rpm 100%, and no matter oil or water levels we do not get enough power to stay in the air, mixture level does not seem to do anything. What are we doing wrong pilots? Any ideas? Thankyou so much!!!

I hope you don't mistaken rpm for throttle. Stuka has manual RPM control so you have to control it, 75% is enough tho.

Most likely you took too much fuel and bombs. You can't take 100% fuel and 1800kg of bombs. Take what you need for your mission, if you are attacking something like vehicles or some smaller static objects, 250 and 4x70 is enough. 500 for bridges made of wood + 4x70kg is always nice addition. 500 and 250 only for buildings like factory. 1800 is for big ships only or if you are going for huge steel bridges or if you really want some really big factory building.

Also plan how much fuel you need, if your target is 5min of flying away you don't need fuel for 30min, but take some extra just in case you have a leak.

In the Specifications tab for the aircraft when setting up a mission it gives you the min/max weights for the aircraft, fuel and various attachments. But yeah the Stuka is a pain in the arse but rewarding when you get it right, especially pulling off dive bombing.

What do you guys set the oil radiator and water radiator at? If your putting rpm of propeller at 75%

Thanks for the help!

You cant put it at 100% and forget about them. It's not a fighter where you need all the speed, it's not like you can run away from something. Maybe on winter maps you need less so your engine wont get cold. Just watch the temperature.

lol that video. Anyhoo, what would be a gd engine oil water ratio for keeping this baby performing well at 75% rpm propeller and managed throttle? And there is literally no other tricks bar weight?

Like i said before, just put it on 100% (radiators) and forget about them. If you want to fly realistic, forget about % of anything and look at your clocks inside cockpit. There is specification tab in game for every plane so you will see how much rpm and ata you should keep for specific situations. It tells you what is optimal temp. for water and oil so you can also put radiators on setting that would keep it that way.

Adler, what there is a page for each plane which tells you the correct ratings? Where is this and thankyou so much for this infomation.... this will help out no end

When you select plane, there is specification tab, just open it, somewhere on the right side.
