Tank Crew Frustration

I just bought Stalingrad so I could get Tank Crew. When loaded two green boxes show both games but I cannot pick TC. If I pick a tank icon for a mission in Stalingrad, I can only drive the tank, not shoot. What am I doing wrong?

You can only drive the tank because you start out in the driver's position by default. You'll have to move to the gunner position to aim and fire the gun -- but unfortunately you can't drive from the gunner position. The Tank Commander position offers you the most control; you can 'drive' the tank from the top hatch while ordering targets to your gunner (put him in AI mode) and to other tanks in your platoon.

Are you able to select the Tank Crew vehicles for example Sherman, Panther and Tiger?

Also, Tank Crew is still mostly a multiplayer game. There isn't a career mode but you should be able to play the two scripted campaigns that are now included. Go to Scripted Campaign in the opening menu and look for Last Chance and Breaking Point.

Which helps a bit with the lack of single player content.

well on the t-34, first you have to press "P" to unpause the game

Then press "E" to start engine

then switch to the gunners position by pressing "Left control+ c" (cycle to gunners position)

then look thru cuticle by pressing "Lshift+t"

then you will see the targeting reticle thru 1st eye view.

Then press "T" to unlock turret. (Im guessing true tanks locked there turrets in real life)

Try Right Shift+1 for gunner.
Right Shift+0 should move you back to driver.
Right Shift+2 is usually commander.

Most of the tanks use the same key binds to jump to specific positions, but one or two have thrown me off. I have a special Voice Attack command for the Sherman I tagged "Wildcard" that takes me to Right Shift+4. Most vehicles you just use Right Shift+ (0,1,2 or 3).

I still don't know how to actually get in to play tank crew. My only option is Stalingrad. What am i missing?

Are you trying to play online or as a single player?

Single player:
Click on 'Scripted Mission' at the opening menu and then choose the 'Last Chance' or 'Breaking Point' tiles. (If they have a lock icon over them then Tank Crew is not installed.)

Click on the 'Missions' link and then click on the 'Tank Scenarios' folder to choose a vehicle and then a single mission.

There isn't a separate 'game.' Your tank crew vehicles operate within the Battle of Stalingrad ecosystem. Tank Crew adds an additional map designed for tank combat.
