Plane spinning out of control on ground problem
I recently got the game and I doing ok when i start in the air but on the ground the plane tends tu turn constantly to the left or the right on the spot even at low speeds. the rudder pedals seem not to affect it and i have little impact it by tapping the left and right wheel breaks but after a second it starts to turn out of control again even when i dont touch any of the controls. Somwhere i read that I need to put the pitch down to -50 but even that does not help. And when I try to takeoff the plane pretty much crashes or tilts over emidiatly.

Increase RPM to 100% than increase throttle and rudder according to it
Its not easy to taxi at the moment.

Its also a balancing act.

You need enough wind going over your rudder to make it work, so too little wont work.

Also "dancing" on your rudder helps, ie quick presses on either to keep yo straight.

Practice, practice, practice.

ok will keep trying then for now thx
I still have this issue and am really pleased if i manage to take off!

So dont feel disheartened.

But note that a new flight model is coming for all planes which may make all aspects of flight a little easier and more realistic.

ok will try. is there any other way to turn on the ground apart from the wheel brakes?

Be gentle, use breaks, keep your ground speed down and use tailwheel lock when you're not turning.

Thank you Daymo

Never used breaks before and never had problems to take off.

Watch out if you increase the throttle some planes start to move around 28% throttle. That means for you -> you increase the throttle very slowly and watch at what moment the plane start to move. If the plane starts to move reduce the throttle little bit. If the plane stops repeat this everytime until you reach the runway where you are ready to take off.

BTW if the Rudder not affect try to increase the Deadzone.

The rudder has no effect if there is not enough airflow going over it, that's why it's better to use brakes when at slow speeds and rudder plus brakes once you have enough airlfow over the rudder.

It also depends on the plane. For instance, in the P40E you can steer the tailwheel with the rudder pedals up to half deflection, more than that and the tail wheel unlocks and moves freely. Which is a pain in the butt. When I watched a p40 training video I was sure locking the tail wheel to steering was done by holding the stick all the way back as you taxi.. but it's been awhile. That is besides the point, some planes may have different steering procedures. You gotta look it up. Some info can be found in the briefing screen, or the O screen while in game.
