I guess I'll have too, just gotta learn to fly first. I have the added challange of virtual reality, VR is one of the reason I picked this up. Luckily I have a flight stick from the space sims, I have no idea how this would be played with out one.
No speed=stall
Also, when you land, make sure it's on all three wheels - kinda the opposite of what I did at the start.
Oh, and this is for you and everyone else; there's this really great android app called "IL2 Tactical Map" where you can plan your flights, mark targets, map routes, and see all the information on all the different aircraft. It's a really nifty tool, especially when you eventually start flying without the HUD, or in multiplayer
For shooting down enemy airplanes on novice just out turn them and don't stall your airplane. You hear that noise right before your airplane goes ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Just ease back up on the stick. Then just keep turning and by turn 2 or three you will be on the tail of the enemy airplane.
The current one is fine as long as you are gentle with your stick.
Some planes do stall and spin more than others.
If you are a Russian flyer, I recommened the Yak Series.1 or 1b they're both great for new flyers.
The type i16 rocks too.
