That's the best I could find even after checking the il2sturmovik forums. The general consensus is that Mouse Aim "works" but it is not as easy to use as the mouse control in War Thunder. I also didn't find any evidence that it was improved in IL-2 after the experimental beta release.
Get yourself a good but affordable flight stick when you can. Your enjoyment and reward factor will go up immensely the more you learn to actually control the aircraft flight surfaces yourself.
This is an absolute necessity.
If you have the PC, then the rest is easy. I think even the least expensive of these "sticks" will give you far greater immersion and pleasure than a mouse and keyboard. Don't be discouraged yet!
Thanks kings, I'll see what I can get. I love planes especially WWII ones, just a bummer that it's hard/not possible to play it with Keyboard and mouse competently.
