IL2's are a good aircraft to learn on, especially with landings, its fairly forgiving and can take a beating from the enemy and rough around the edges pilots alike! Just try without bomb loads first since the heavier it is the more difficult it can be. German single seat aircraft tend to handle a lot of the complex engine management (cem) stuff automatically though, making them less intensive to manage when you're flying.

Tips about each aircraft can be found on the specification tab on the map just before you start a mission, just scroll down to give you an idea about the quirks, engine power settings, the most important one's are bullet pointed at the bottom.

Make sure you have the technical tips selected in settings as well, the game will tell you things like when you're going fast enough to take off, required speed for decending and touch down etc. It does this when it detects you're trying to do one of these things so give it a chance to catch on ;)

The difficulty settings are quite scalable so don't be afraid to play it on an easy setting to get the feel of the game and then work you're way up to taking off the training wheels.

Just shout if you need anything, also the official IL-2 forum is really helpful with lots of people and resources able to help.

Check Requiem's Aircombat Tutorial videos on YouTube as well

Search vids on youtube and visit official il2 forum, plenty of guides there.
Bf109 is a good plane to start. Later you can switch to allies planes which demand engine managment.
Or you can start on normal diffficultivity.
Also finding somenone to fly with can help a lot and make learning process much faster.
Good luck and welcome!

Need to be more specific. Are you ok with taxiing and take off? How is your aim? Are you more of a bomber person?

Im goodw ith taxiing and taking off, aim not so much and I only flew a bomber once in a mission. Missed my targets 3 times

I'd say practice fighter aiming on quick mission against a slow plane so you get the basics. Try shooting down a Lagg3, Bf 109 E, Ju52, or Ju 87. Once you get the turning and shooting down you might want to practice some other basic tactics such as zoom and boom, maintiaining energy and altitude.

When I flew the lagg, the slightest move made the whole cockpit rock left and right which kinda messes up my aim. If this helps I use mouse

I meant using those planes as targets. Fly the Yak1 or the Bf109 F4, which are superior to the ones I listed. it will be easier to practice shooting.
