What program do you need to edit? Also, what is in the Input and Bindings folders?
The Input folder is the actual keybindings for IL2 as they are on the overview. So if you Copy and pate the input folder content from dropbox to the input folder of IL2 files the keymapping should be instantly as the layout is on the picture.
Same goes for the Elite Bindinds folder. Just copy/paste in the right folder.
** Mind you, always make a backup of exisist folders before you mess with it **
Throtle :If I use WEB maximum speed.Do I have to lower my hand throttle then?FRom + 100% on 99% for example.
So...then I must blindly hit that speed? The wheel is difficult to level at exactly 99% speed.
How do you handle it?Because you can't keep WEB all the time.
I mean, I release W on the keyboard...to turn off the WEB.When I hold W again turn on WEB.
But with your fingers, the wheel is difficult to control on (VKB Gladiator mkII)
So how do you do that?
Put rockets to the left "joystick" up, and drop bombs to down. It's way easier that way to shoot things (personally)
There's still some buttons below you can use for take-off / landing lights. Il share my setup soon.
I'm not too well versed in the Sim Lingo though, WEB? The throttle I use worked great. I havent played Warthunder myself with it, But I used to use a T.Flight X Hotas and this throttle is a lot more sensitve. Warthunder supports Joystick axis support so this shopuld work too. make sure you do research on it before you consider purchase ofcourse. I think with all 100%/99% things will get finickety. But its the best I have had. Maybe you can edit things in your game for sensitivity? I'm no Techy ofcourse.
Looking forward to it! I'm jst trying my setup. I am not a hardcore SIMmer Others will want to bind cockpit lights as well as fuel mixtures. Not me, I get overwhelmed quickly.
