Then you can drag and drop the waypoints on the map and drag them near to the target point.
And choose air start.
Then you must only fly 10 km.
Unfortunately this doesnt work with escort missions, because there are only the 3 standart waypoints, but than you can replace yourself with an AI pilot if you dont want to fly it!
Now you have a career with short flights
Wow, I didn't know moving the waypoints was even a thing. I've only managed to get Leader status once so far in various career modes, but next time I get it I'll be trying that out myself
flight altitude and formation if you wish
Brilliant, thanks for the info, I'll be using it for sure
Don't forget it's a tiny team with a narrow budget.
look how the game's improved since release.
the devs are flight fans too but have to juggle things to stay afloat and give a superior experience.
it's not perfect but it's always improving! ;)
no resources are being "moved away"
it's all one game.
any new releases exist in the same game you own and any benefits apply to your game too.
so if you own BoS and then for Bodenplatte the devs add new fixes or changes then all the benefits are added for everyone who owns any module.
it's a really good system for all owners.
also, the guys who work on the campaign won't be the modeller creating new planes or assets nor map creators.
indeed, every new module they release shows that production is going well and that they cam finance a new release.
development is not cheap.
tldr: everything is cool. worry not.
but by what actual facts?
one cannot compare WT to Box other than they're about planes.
their engine, set up, priorites are vastly different to the BoX guys m gals.
if you follow development youll know that they've outsourced much to external associate's so they can concentrate on the key values of the project.
they've been incredibly upfront about any issues so far, I don't see that changing.
yes, disaster could strike but there's no negative indicators so far.
I think one challenge the face is getting the jet aircraft in properly to the standards they want..
but again I'm not worried.
Maybe overall development is a bit slowed down till new studios catch the ropes of new engine, but that shouldn't last long.
Increasing manpower and hiring new studios is quite opposite than worrying in my opinion.
