I want Swastika's on my country Flag, Awards, and Skins is it possible?

I want to know if its possible to get the Hakenkreuz (Swastika) on all the above? There's no immersion in a game that prides itself on historical accuracy without the damn Swastika. The stand in for it is so awful i cant bear to look at it. My Country has no restriction on it so why?
Not even Germany has restrictions on it anymore for christ sake.

It simply cant be done by the developer. Its illegal many places And its still not 100% legal in Germany. Yes, you can have custom skins. A quick google search will give you perfect answers.

Removing it doesn't get rid of hatred and such either though, and that's the point.

The IL-2 games from 2001 Sturmovik through 1946 had swastikas, and there wasn't an upsurge in neo-♥♥♥♥ groups forming from the MP community or something.

Political correctness does absolutely no good, whatsoever. But it does lead to a whole slew of new bad externalities, such as criminalizing speech and thought, which totally shuts down the opportunity for actual debate, discussion and intellectual development.

Go on official forum section, download templates, ooen in photoshop/Gimp and enjoy.

"It's illegal in other countries" doesn't establish if political correctness or censorship is reasonable or not. Human slavery used to be legal in every polity on earth till around 1,500 years ago, that didn't mean it was righteous or made reasonable sense.

Be sure to rename the flag file in the mod to get it to appear correctly
Just rename image.big.dds to flag.big.dds inside data\swf\il2\countries\201\

As for the argument, I'd be willing to bet that most flight simmers are also hobbyists in the study of history and desire historical correctness in their gaming and not politically correct BS.

It is a moot discussion. They prohibited by law from displaying the symbol. The swastika is a symbol of hatred and antisemitism. It makes sense. The Red Star itself is not attributed to anything specific. As indicated above, there are mods to "fix" the "problem."
