Is it possible to start with the engines off?
The plane is always on the runway with engines going.

Dont forget to warm up your engines if you do.

Change the starting point to "parked".

The engine warmup OrLoK mentioned depends on your mission settings. there is a checkbox for to start with the egines warmed up.
