Odin is absolutely broken
Made me uninstall, wtf is this permanent stun every few seconds. Really makes me question how skill based this game really is, literally no counter play once you're stunned you are ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

His ability has a 50 second cooldown, and can be upgraded to 40 seconds. The counter-play is to not stay in the purple circle

It isn't stun, it's immobilization. The counter play is to either move out of the circle or to not get immobilized in a bad position. There are also skills that reduce the length of negative effects or reduce incoming damage while you are negative affected.

But since you've uninstalled I guess there was no reason to answer you.

There is barely any indication of a AOE zone. All you see is some purple aura for a couple seconds then you're rooted.

I can see why some think that, but just run away from the circle and you'll be finerino!:emofdr:
Kinda insane we have such a game breaking ability in the game, literally gives you no counter play just stunlocks you and you cant do ♥♥♥♥ to fight back.

Odin is pretty strong, but his skill can easily be countered. Please take a look at Rein's(KSK) Q ability, as well as the 1st perk slot - R&R from Zubr(SSO RB).

I'd also recommend to take the time checking out other skills & perks as well.

Asking/expecting people to learn about the various options available to building an Operator, let alone even trying to get them to understand how vast the possibilities even are, I find to be the hardest entry problem this game is going to have. People with no attention span somehow find the time to ♥♥♥♥♥ about things they don't understand though, go figure.
Oh yeah, you need a specific operator to counter a game breaking OP ability. Is this a shooter or a MOBA? It's fine having counters, but please don't punish players because they didn't bring "the" hard-counter to Odin in a match. There should be ways to counter this broken stupid ability, im even fine with being flashed for x seconds etc but its just so frustrating to get stunlocked and you literally cant do ANYTHING to fight back and you feel cheated and not outplayed.

I'm fine with getting owned by better players because it makes me want to improve, but when you have abilities like this it really do feel cheap to get killed because of something you can do nothing about. That's also why I dislike Valorant, it never feels good to get killed there and just makes you angry because it's frustrating with all the stupid abilities traveling through walls blinding/detecting etc.

Well when they make it a slog to actually get operators and also make it a slog to level them while also excessively charging for upgrades and respects then people tend to lose interest.

You don't even need anything specific, you only need to be aware of what Odin's kit is and to know the maps. The ability can be predicted and avoided, and even if it hits you the outcome is by no means guaranteed.

Odin's main weapon has fairly low damage per shot and ROF, you can still outshoot him. The worst case scenario is when you get immobilized just around the corner and he rockets you without peeking. Lesson being - don't get hit by his ability while being just around the corner.
dont care, also ratio and left a negative review.

The counter-play against the odin is the Swede's medic Freyr.

Odins gun shoots fast as hell and its damage isnt that low lol. IN terms of LMGs, its actually quite high. Its like 21 or 22 with 55 or 60% AP and like 11.2 RoF. Compared to Matador and its 9, along with how fast the damage fall off is. Or Bourbon and its 10 with only 17 base dmg. Or Stern and his 9 with 17 dmg......you also have Hagana, whose gun hits like a wet noodle beyond about 10 feet. I still dont like Odin though lol.....not a fan of his gun.
