Impressed 5800X3D + 6900XT 1440p max settings gameplay

I am impressed by this game. This is my first play with this character.
For those wondering on performance, it runs good imo.

Max settings at 1440p, I just turned off Motion Blur and depth of field as I hate it.

The graphics don't look that good to me, but it runs well, so that's fine. I can run it in 1080p, very high graphics settings, about 200-300 fps.

I really like 240+ Hz.

I would suggest turning off all the awful camera effects. The sharpening filter also does not seem necessary and I can see the artifacts from it when it is on.

You need to overclock your gpu, rx 6900 xt can do 2800 mhz core, 2150 mhz mem easily.

Yeah I leave my GPU at defaults usually, its not worth it imo for ~ 1-4 fps. I do however set a custom fan curve higher than the stock.

I do undervolt my 5800X3D CPU though as that was pretty much needed as it runs hot as heck at defaults. Most people do undervolt my cpu. I did and it dropped the temps about 15-20C on water cooling and it also boosts to max boost 4450mhz most of the time.

Hoak, please stop posting misinformation. The graphics look like a game from a few years ago, hence the pc requirements of parts from a few years ago, and the extremely high frame rate. At least 240 hz has been proven to be useful, so I suggest you learn more about computers. I don't think the in game sharpening filter will change with gpu, it should be the same sharpening filter. An amd gpu at 110 c or lower is within spec, and will run at that temperature for years, so again, you need to learn more about computers. You are not going to kill a gpu with heat. Need as in that gpu is nowhere near its max potential so it is a waste of money.

Yeah, I guess they can overclock if they wish. It's on them.

The only time I would consider over clocking personally is if I undervolted it as well while still being stable. It would also need to have a decent bump in performance for me to leave it. If it's just 1% or 1-5 fps increase, I'd just leave it alone and not even overclock. When you're already getting 100+ fps just as an example, what is another 5 fps going to really do?

I don't overclock anymore, I have years ago when I was younger.
I have never bricked anything, but I know it can definitely happen if you don't know what you're doing lol.

Luckily I have been in the computer industry working for businesses about 10 years not counting the years on my own.

I don't work for anyone anymore and got out of the tech field for work a few years ago. I still keep up to date on everything and only work on my own stuff. I won't work on anyone's PC anymore.
