Thanks for helping keep things in perspective here.
I first bought this game in 2015 when it was built on Unity 4. It's changed ownership a number of times, and the fact that the original developer picked it back up and is *still* supporting new operating systems and working on an overhaul - 7 years later - says a great deal about their attachment and commitment to this game.
In my opinion, at least, SL is an absolute steal at its current price point. I still get lost on the big island and gaining a foothold in a new game is always a challenge. When Last Bastion starts pushing out updated content, that will just be icing on the cake.
EDIT: And Opus, it's nice to see you back here. It's been a while!
In the old build (Unity 4) we used to stand on top of houses and pelt those things with arrows. They were *scary* lol - so were the bears. When the new islands were released, I recall standing on a boulder on the shore and pelting one of them with rocks as I was out of arrows... I think it took just about exactly 1000 rocks - and yes, I did count it! Rocks are 100% reusable as you can just pick them up and throw them again, so this was actually a valid strategy if you wanted to kill them before you were geared enough.
