How do I make a Crafting Table?

It doesn't seem to be on the list of things I can make, so I assuming its one of the building/structures that I can use logs and whatnot to upgrade back to full health. But for the life of me I can't fine anything to upgrade that doesn't require materials only makable with a crafting table! ARGH!

Any reccomendations? I am at a farm type area by a shore. I wandered back and forth where I spawned by found no sign of a Lean To, place to store all this crap, or a Crafting Table. I found a tower/stone structure behind my farm that had a letter mentioning one had been destroyed but never found it.

For a default key map, press J to open what i call your book, in the top tab, you have a building section that allow you to place a ghost for your future building then provide materials. There is some hint to help you to do it when you start the game.
From the spawn point to the left of the beach to get a farm with a camp fire, there is some logs here but you should have enough tools to get wood logs from trees...

Ok, so I was playing on a resolution that was cutting off the edges of the book, hence I never saw the tabs. Thanks! Without you I would've never known they were there!

Is there a way to play at 1024 x 768 without this issue?

Have you tried to use a 16:9 resolution? Doing that while in fullscreen should work with only the added part of black bars on the top and bottom.

I have Dell K4 28 " monitor.I cen go to 3840 X 2160 resolution and also use not just 16:9 but also wide screen 21:9,But at high resolution fonts was to smol to read it,so I set a resolution 1920 x1080 for this game and it rune nicely
