How do I get the wolf spirit on the starting island to spawn? I've hung around all night....

Did you read the book by the statue? Are you on build 142?

Kill the boss wolf on the starting island. It should drop eventually. I made max armor then went to second island, same with third. I suggest doing that cause the later mobs will drop them like 40% ish of the time. Im on build 135 tho. Noticed the second island had a higher drop rate.

OP means Rycnth when referring to a "wolf spirit" ... not the item.

@ OP, i'd pay attention to the moon and look for any lore (the books and pages on the ground) as they contain hints/clues to how/where specific mobs or items are located or hidden. theres even 2 pieces of Lore that contain mini quests in a loose way.

explore everything and read everything you find, it will aid you a lot in your adventures

I just started a new game and found after three nights killing every Wild Boar, rabbit, Wolves in the area from pond to the ruins by the Dragon tower to the stone torch. Every night when entering the Shrine of Rycnth a text in Red would say Rycnth has arrived. The third night noticed a red glow above tree line on mountain of the Shrine of Rycnth. When leaving shrine it was on the left side of the shrine mountain. When arrived where i saw it i could hear Rycnth but he glitched in the rocks. The next night with bright moon, with red text Rycnth has arrived, he was in the same area.
