Throttle acceleration & Turning control improvement suggestions

The acceleration seems to work fine however what seems to be pretty janky in a OVERLY HEAVY way is the way the game thinks only drifting is the way to fix your direction. When you let go of your throttle button AT ALL the kart REALLY feels like it suddenly got an anvil tied behind it.

The turning control of this game is not powerful enough to justify having to use the throttle at all times. And not every situation befits having to use the drift button. I think having gradual acceleration control when using and letting go the throttle button could improve the control very much.
