Wow ... why not just reskin the SZ classic skin? It would take them ... 20 seconds to do it? And we would be way more happy.

thing is the klassic line isn't always their original appearance. the MK1 line is which reptile doesnt have a skin from atm.

They have to work around the whole variation system as well as animations without having to redo them. They can't just put subzeros skin on him and expect it to work. I like it and Im one of those fans that prefers the more human looking deceptive reptile over the overly lizard like reptile. There is just so much time they can put in to something that is FREE. Im happy we got another classic ninja skin.. its not like mk9s alt but its very reminiscent of MK4s reptile alt.

I don't really mind the way Reptile looks. (I really like his horror skin hehe) but what I don't like about him is his voice/grunts.. Every time he opens his mouth it sounds like you are chocking a sick cat.. That and he has pretty much taken Barakas place as a "joke character IMO"

-MK1 Kano (but with MKX gear and bionic eye... fail)
-MK1 Liu Kang (but with bandana... fail)
-UMK3 Reptile (free for the new patch)
-UMK3 Ermac (no image but like Sub Zero and Reptile it will arrive in future patches)

-Jax as Carl Weathers in Predator 1 movie (also with his voice)
-Johnny Cage as Schwarzenegger appearance in Predator 1
-Scorpion "heat vision" appearance, like how Predator saw people

Got to correct you on the costumes, they're not UMK3, they're MK4/MK: Gold. Reptile's is his alt, Sub-Zero's was his default.

you are incorrect sir. at least about subbys costume. His alt in mk4 was essentially his costume from umk3 but his legs and arms are all frozen. The costumes were based off of their appearences in umk3 but were hidden costumes. But reptiles is kind of a mixture so they are kind of a hybrid of umk3 and mk4.

EDIT: I take that back, subzeros costume is purely his umk3 costume due to the segmented square pads on his vest.. in mk4 there was just a standard blue vest with no such segments. also his hood was more ninja like where its spiked at the edges. (also mask was vented in mk4)
