(Last Patch Issues) Black screen after starting game!

Hello, like the title says I'm having for the first time (at least for me) a problem with this game. Since the last patch I'm having some random issues like strange lines popping up during start up (if the game launched), strange lines (for 1 sec) during loading screen and profile customization but nothing happens during a fight online, offline or story mode.
Before this patch I could play the game normally with no problems, I checked if it was my gpu problem but it wasn't because I was able to play all my other games fine with no issues.
Does anyone know a way to fix this or if there are other people that have my same issues?
Also I was able to play this morning a bit but now I'm getting black screen everytime I launch the game.

PS: my pc specs are :
amd Fx 8350,
r9 285 Gaming 2GB,
Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1600 Mhz

I'm starting to regret to have downloaded this patch, anyway, sorry in advance if there are any grammar errors!

I experienced the black screen when launching after the patch, but only when in fullscreen mode. When I changed back to windowed, I was able to launch again without problems. If you can never get ingame to change the setting to windowed, you will have to do it outside (I used NVidia Experience).

You might have a different problem, but it is worth a try. I can say that when I had the black screen, I was still able to hear the menus, just not see them.

When I get black screen at launch my monitor gives me this message "suggested monitor resolution 1920x1080" and when I go on desktop by pressing ctrl+alt+del I have a smaller res then 1920x1080.

Tried to start the game windowed but it's not working I still get black screen! I was starting to get really into this game but now I just feel to uninstall it!!

Ok seems that by simply restarting my pc fixed the issue no black screen or lines so far.
Since yesterday patch I left my pc on because I was also downloading few games of 40-50 gb each from both origin and steam but now after I restarted my pc the game works properly.

Restarted after patch, tried windowed mode, and I get black screen and a black window trying to load the config launcher. Nvidia Geforce Experience did nothing to change the fact. This game has progressed worse..not been able to play it since launch when it was fragments of a single player game only.

I've been reading that sometimes the crash at launch may be a controller problem because it's not compatible (strange but some people said this, worth to check pad drivers!).
Also like stated in my main post up here I still get some strange small green lines when I'm in the profile customization settings (icon,border,background).
At launch I didn't have any issues with this game but after some patches I had the dead woods pixellated issue and lastly this.

ive got the same, after the 15gb Jason update all I get is black screen when I attempt to launch, I have tried the delete options.ini in appdata, I have deleted all local content and re downloaded and steam has verified all of the files, I have removed and tried different gpu drivers, it must be another program/driver that we all have in common causing this, as theres a lot of others out ther playing it on pc as we speak?

here my specs incase we can see a pattern, for example (I am using 4x r9 290x) as is the OP who started this thread, I have tried disabling/removing cards incase its a cf problem.

5960x
x99 R5E
4 x 290x R9
m.2 pcie for O/S
1tb Crucial SSD (this I where game is stored)
im using asus 4k monitor, incase its a res issue.
Windows 8.1 x64 I haven't tried win 7

Any help would be amazing, as I just want to play the game :)

Diabling hyperthreading in your bios has worked for many other 5960x owners. The patch broke my game too. I have 14 cores so my next step is going to be disabling a couple of them and seeing what happens. That's my project for tonight.
