Resolution issue and options.ini reset
Is it just me or the game options resets everytime you launch the game? Tried a workaround that by making the options.ini in the appdata "read only" so it wouldn't change the resolution, but i get a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up. Gonna try putting display resolution equal to the game's, seeing if it makes a difference.

+1.
I have to set the resolution and v-sync options everytime I launch the game...

Me too and it's pretty annoying. Not only because you've got to reset it manually every time. When the game isn't started in a resolution that is too high and is being reset to it in the game, it tends to be slower afterwards than it was when the game starts in the correct resolution right away.

Does anybody have a useful and performant solution for this issue?

I am about to give up on this worthless PC port and replay Wasteland 2 or continue to play Pillars of Eternity instead.

Thank you very much, Short Circuit Software.

well I had some email contact a while back with WB for the crashing isseu and they gave me this to try (mayby it works to save the settings)
didnt work tho and no solution still but mayby it can help save your settings

3. Find MK10 Folder and find 'options.ini'

4. Open options.ini and change these things to these values:

SSAO = false
DepthOfField = false
MotionBlur = false
Bloom = false
ParticleDensity = 0
Antialiasing = NONE
Anisotropy = 0
Texture_Quality = 4294967295
Shadow_Quality = 4294967295
(Fyi, Texture_Quality and Shadow_Quality of 4294967295 is the lowest quality possible. Value of 1 is the highest quality.)

5. Right-click your 'options.ini' file and go to 'Properties' and change it to 'read only' once you made these changes (Note: Going to 'PC video' settings makes the game crash. To change settings again, you need to delete 'options.ini'. Running MKX will create a new options.ini next time the game is launched. You can now go to 'PC video' settings and change settings again.)

6. Change resolution in-game (increase fps by lowering resolution to desired fps)

7. Switch to windowed mode in-game (fullscreen mode stutters because of vsync)

A temporal solution could be to lower the windows screen resolution before enter to the game. That way it runs in that resolution. Worked for me

I had the problem where you open the game and it is really zoomed in and the resoultion is ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Fixed it by going into %Appdata% then finding the MK10 folder and deleting the options.ini file. This will reset your video settings. Then once you are in game, go to the PC Video options and change the resolution. Accept the changes and put it back how it was before. Don't know why it worked for me but it did. I no longer have to delete the options.ini file everytime I want to play.
