Resolution stuck?

Anyone know how to get my resolution choice to stay? I have it set to run at 1920 x 1080, but everytime I launch the game my TV switches to 3840 x 2160. This is the only game that I have this problem with. Is the game forcing GPU scaling or something? Although that resolution is nice, I can't stand playing at 30 FPS. I changed the .ini and even in the games options it says the resolution is 1920 x 1080 but the TV says otherwise.

It didn't matter what the resolution was set to, it was always 3840 x 2160. I fixed the problem though, apparently Steam is the issue? If you launch the game directly from MK10.exe it works fine. And apparently the game is locked to 60 fps as well.

honeslty this game is all sorts of broken
it's the same with my monitor (1920x1080), im trying to get it to run 1600x900 however it just switches back

I have the same but opposite problem. I want it to be 4k but it's switched itself to 1080p everytime it launches and I have to swap back in the options menu.

Judging from experience, This game automatically sets the in-game resolution to whatever your monitor/tv resolution is. Judging by the post, you have a 4k tv so the game will automatically detect the resolution and change it to that regardless of the changes in the .ini file.

i fixed mine by an answer given to me by another user which was use windows update to update your intel driver

Apparently I've fixed it by opening the game with the launcher

EDIT: Nope, opened it again with the launcher and the bug is still there. This is very frustrating....
