Finally, yes, there are screamers in the Krypt in MKX.

"The Krypt is split up into several areas for you to explore. Some areas have different things.

In the cemetary, there's dogs or wolves, couldn't really tell, that jump at you.
In the caves, giant spiders attack you.
In the church-type area, bodies jump out of blood pools and attack you.

Unlike other MK Krypts though, you have a chance of defending yourself against these scares. A successful defense is rewarded with Koins, which is nice."

Personally I only was in the cemetery and I found random wolves attacking, you can counter him, also you can be aware when they will appear: The camera will move rarely and then it turns in the side and there is the wolf attacking you.
