Limit your distance, try and stay close and press the attack.
Use pokes when he wakes up from knockdowns and avoid blocking too much. His attacks are slow and can be interrupted with standing jabs and low pokes. Interrupt his attack and follow with your combo.
Crossups are dangerous because of his air grab which creates distance and risk for being caught by his projectile.
Use your meter. It's only one round so don't be afraid to break whenever you have one.
Pressure is the key, do not allow him to control the round. Faster characters have an advantage.
