First , you run out of vram because of the memory leak , next you run out of RAM , and then finally once that is full , windows will use your hdd as ram.
You only option is rebooting , this way windows will clear your page file.
Next, right click on your computer icon , select properties.
advanced system settings
Advanced tab , under performance click settings
Advanced tab again , under virtual memory click change
Change from system managed size to custom size
Choose your page file size (some apps wont work with less than 512 or 1024) I choose 1024
Thats it, 1gb page file , that will never expand.
It isn't your game records that takes up hdd space, its the memory leak.
Still check the patch notes... reduced replays taking too much space on hdd. But i think your solution can be good because replays is stored i think in game folder not on system partition.

13 File(s) 2 609 654 bytes
2 Dir(s) 30 504 841 216 bytes free
The save folder is this size : 13 File(s) 2 609 654 bytes
2 megabytes .. how much will you save if they reduce that even more?
No worries :)
The first real issue is the memory leak ....
Maybe people lose their saves once the HDD is filled up, and can no longer save? Doesnt explain why it would delete everything though .... are all the files gone when the save dissapears?
This is an actual file , on your HDD named : pagefile.sys , which can dynamically expand if the settings allow it to. Mine is at C:\pagefile.sys but with the hidden attribute set, so you cant see it unless you enabled to see hidden files.
Verum, its very possible your system requires 3gb , if you have some extensive software. That is ok. The point here is not to let windows handle the size on its own , because it will simply increase it non stop when it gets hit by the memory leak. Once you quit MK , and go on to other software , the pagefile's contents will be replaced with what your software needs, and all will be ok.
Its just that because of the leak , the system will think you need more ram , which you dont have , so it keeps using your HDD as ram (which is very slow) eventually running out of space.
