PS4...for playercount and kind of stability...netcode is ♥♥♥♥ on all versions

I would say PS4 as well, I got my game on the same day as my friend who had bought it on pc and i was at his house playing on my PS4 while he was on his pc and we could see a lot of differences. For stability the PS4 is near flawless while the pc version my lag in some stages. For netcode, like XzWhiteDevilzX said it's kind of bad across all platforms. For playercount i would say PS4 but you need Playstation plus to play against people. For looks or cosmetic appeal I think the PC version has slightly higher res textures but since it's a fighting game it's a little hard to notice.

At the moment PS4 version is better. They might fix PC version performance issues but I think playerbase will still be better on PS4 (more people playing, better skill level, more top players and etc.).

even though I have the pc I would have to say PS4 cause my pc is under the requirements and game runs like a slide show on many stages but I still like my purchase as I'm a MK fan since the first game on SNES and SEGA.

Too soon to tell.

On the long run PC will be better if they fix the problems.
I think PC version has to be a bit more beautiful once maxed out, but I did not watch comparaison, and it has to be marginal.
Netcode sucks on every platform, so playcount does not matter at all either since it is not really a game you will play online if you don't enjoy lag fest.

Right now PS4 is better I think.

Pc is slightly better but atm only high end pc's can run it maxed out, needs optimization for mid tier specs.
Netcode is the same.

I own both versions and PS4 is clearly the better one. Netcode is way smoother than the pc version and i've tried both on the same connection.

1. Stability and performance are at the moment better on the PS4. However, if FPS problems get fixed, performance on the PC is going to be better. In terms of graphical fidelity, the PC version looks a bit cleaner and sharper due to the better FXAA algorith used, the 16x AF (instead of 8x on the PS4) and the fact that Story Cutscenes run at 60FPS (contrary to 30 on the PS4). Note that you can max the game at any decent PC setup achieving 60FPS on all stages and circumstances, apart from the Sky Temple and Dead Woods stages. I am personally using a GTX 760 (5% oced), an Intel i5 3570 and 8GBs of RAM and the only times when I do not get 60FPS is at the Sky Temple Stage and when performing certain fatalities, eg D'Vorah's second fatality and Shinnok's first fatality.

2. The netcode is bad in all versions, but that doesn't mean that multiplayer is unplayable. Finding players in your region is easy thanks to the "Rooms" mechanic on the online section of the game. Playing on the PS4 also requires your subscription to the Playstation Network, which costs at least 5 dollars/euros per month.

3. The playercount is inarguably higher on the PS4. MK has traditionally been a console series and therefore the PC community is still in its "adolescence". Perhaps, in MKXI, there are going to be more players.

Edit: NickGR's PC is below the minimum requirements and it's no wonder his 6-year old Phenom cannot follow the network load created by the game. I don't know about MAN0's specs, but as the videos below perfectly demonstrate, you can easily achieve 60FPS on an up-to-date budget PC.

I could hardly characterise a GTX 750Ti "high end" as he does.

PC version's rough right now. It is better, but not by much... PS4 has the game nearly maxed out. Just get it there if you don't want to wait.

I would say that PS4 at the moment is more stable, I have already experienced few crashes in PC, however, with settings maxed out the PC version looks great and better than PS4 IMO, but as I said, settings have to be maxed and using 16x FXAA, Full HD, etc... Don't get me wrong, I love it on PC and eventually I guess, we will have the issues fixed and we will have mods and many additional stuff like MK9, time will tell :) (I have both PS4 and PC that supports max settings for MKX).

PS4 just got a patch that drasticly improved the netcode , if you want to play online right now then get the console version. Lets hope they fix the netcode on PC aswell , but i would not hold my breath.
