This did the job for me. Thanks!
Found a fix on "missing dlls" on youtube, but can't get fixed because detection program needs process to be running whilst scan - not working for me since process just not start
Found a second fix which ppl actually commented as working - to change MK10.exe to MKX.exe
-not working on steam since it considers renamed file as missing one, and downloads MK10.exe back again.
Someone freakin help me please
This freakin worked! Thank you man
Only that worked for me. Thanks!!!
It turns out that, although my PC's original screens were set to a refresh rate of 60 Hz, the TV defaulted to 30 Hz. MK X just won't start if my TV is set to 30 Hz (even if one of the 60 Hz screens is set as the main display).
Unhelpfully, there is no error message - MK X just doesn't start up. (The prequel MKKE, on the other hand, worked just fine.)
The solution for me, was simply to set my refresh rate to 60 Hz for ALL connected screens. I hope this is useful to someone else!
You have 2 bad DLL's
msvcr100.dl
&
MSVCP110.dll
Both part of C++.
follow this link to redownload AND REPAIR
https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/download/confirmation.aspx?id=30679
it should fix your issue.
Cheers, also just got in the humble and this sorted me out.
Here's my timeline of events :
--Installed game, but when hitting play nothing pops up.. Green "Play" option pops up again.
--Ran the MK10 EXE in admin compatibility mode, and then got the error about missing file "msvcr110d.dll".
--Did some googling, people mentioned that this is part of the Microsoft Visual C++ ----Redistributable 2012.
--Repaired the x86 and x64.
--Restarted my pc, and the game works!!
