FPS FIX: HOW TO 60 FPS ALL THE TIME.
I messed around a little bit with settings now and i noticed the game has some FPS problems (as you know) but that caused by the resolutions. Resolutions above 1600x900 make the game go ♥♥♥♥♥♥ FPS mode. So what you gonna do to have this ♥♥♥♥ run smoothly is the following.

1) Have MK10 running as admin:

C:/Programms(x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/MK10/Binaries/Retail

Right click on MK10, click properties then compatibility and tick the *Execute this programm as admin" and click apply in the right bottom corner.

2) Install DX and vcredist:

DX: C:/Programms(x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/MK10/_CommonRedist/DirectX/Jun2010

Run DXSETUP as admin and install.

vcredist: C:/Programms(x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/MK10/_CommonRedist/vcredist/2012

vcredist_x64 if your system is 64bit.

vcredist_x86 if your system is 32bit.

Run as admin and install or if you have it installed already, press repair.

3) Game settings:

Resolution: 1600x900 ( the best one ive found, ive tested all of them)

Fullscreen.
Antialiasing: FXAA
WindowBoxing: OFF
Anisotropic: 16
Shadows: VERY LOW
Texture: HIGH

Advanced options:

Bloom: ON
Depth Of Field: ON
Motion Blur: OFF
Ambient Occulusion: ON
Particle Density 100

Close the game and restart steam too. Start the game and enjoy.

NOTE 1: The max drop of FPS i have with this settings was between 55-60 57-60.

NOTE 2: Changing the resolution to 1600x900 might make your game "darker", if you don't like that, just mess around with the "Video" options, with gamma and all that stuff.

Hope it works for everyone, don't mind asking questions.

My specs: (in case you need to compare something with yous or stuff like that)

Intel Core i7-2600 CPU @ 3.40 GHz
8GB RAM
Nvidia GeForce GTX 760
Windows 7

Yep i have 60 fps on every stage, except for Sky Temple which is like 45-60. But thats the stage problem, it's bad optimized, like the rest of the game of course.

Well, I am running it at 1920x1080, Fullscreen, Windowed Boxing: On, and with all of the graphical settings being maxed out completely. I get a stable 60 frames per second, and the transition into x-ray's are so smooth I can't even tell. I don't run the game as Administrator. I didn't need to run the redist packages, since this is my gaming system, and other games has already taken care of that.

The thing is, this may work for a handful of people, and that's great and all, but it's not necessarily going to solve things for everyone. It's just graphical tweaks in the Options for the most part, something everyone should be able to do themselves. That's why we got them in the first place. Isn't that why we are on PC instead of a console? I would rather suggest for people to go to the highest settings, then slowly lower them and try out a fight until it potentially becomes playable, e.g., start by lowering Shadows one step. Turn the Particle Density down a little bit. And so on forth. Overall, the game needs optimizations, and all these "use my settings" topics are pointless as a whole, more so when they don't even share what system specifications you have. Advising people to run the redist packages are good, if they don't game on their PC normally. Running the game as Administrator will not help the game run better though. It has no needs for administrative rights.

I'm not trying to be a jerk, but I constantly see these I WRITE IN CAPS AND SAY I HAVE FIXED A ISSUE topics popping up, only for it to be basic graphical configurations within the game itself and/or semi-silly suggestions such as running the game with administrative rights, something it clearly has no need for, or it'd ask for it when you run it. I don't have any major issues mind you, I just tend to browse these forums a lot lately, since I love this game. I understand you are just trying to help people, but sad fact is the game just needs optimizations.

For what it's worth, I run it with a 980m (8 GB VRAM), 16 GB RAM, i7-4710HQ (3.5 GHz).

Well i now posted my specs. I totally forgot about it, thanks for reminding me. Of course the game needs optimizations, if optimizations wasn't needed i wouldn't be here trying to figure out how to run this smoothly lol. And i like the game a lot too, that's why im trying help, to keep people sticked to the game and not let the hype dying.

"I would rather suggest for people to go to the highest settings, then slowly lower them and try out a fight until it potentially becomes playable, e.g., start by lowering Shadows one step."

Nope, not in this game. I had worse FPS on low settings that on high. So the game options makes nosense whatsoever. That's why posted like this one are needed.

Im know this won't work for everyone, but sharing this won't hurt. For those who works, well that's great!

For those who doesn't.... wait for better days, i guess.
