The input lag on this game is terrible

I can run the game at max settings on my pc and play story mode/ practice mode fine, but when I go online I have the worst input lag of all time. This makes the game absolutely sh*t as you literally can't do anything. I also have 152mb/s boradband speeds so its not that.

I know I'm not the only person with this, so are there any reasons for this and any fixes?

Where do you live? It might have something to do with lack of players near you location. I personaly rarely get laggy matches, but I've heard many complain

Well, that shouldn't be a problem then, enough of players in UK. You might want to check some other threads dedicated to that problem, I remember at least two big ones on this forum

Its laggy in general for menot just input lag, but full 2 second freezes in online games. Also british, Manchester. Internet download speel 160 Mbps

I generally just presume its on the opponents end, shame opponents lag affects your own :/

I live in London and I have a pretty good ping in most online games (<40ms) but I've only played ONE game with no latency in MKX. Other than this, most games are pretty hard to time anything. Also, I've never seen anyone's latency bars except for once. Everyone's is grey.

I'm in the US and played with a friend that's also here, and we had the exact same issue. I've never been a giant fan of the way you have to input combos before they come out in the MK games, but it makes playing online with any delay even weirder.

I'm in Canada and get some great connections with almost no input lag
the only onine problem I've seen is a studder sometimes in king of the hill when someone new joins the room but I've played over a dozen online matches with only one having bad lag and the other person quit before the end of the match so it was probably his fault lol :P

The input lag is horrible. I'm vsing a friend who lives right near me and we still have horrible input lag. It's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pathetic! Really puts me off this game. How is it other games p2p connections and netcode are so smooth and yet these guys can't seem to do it at all. 2015. ♥♥♥♥ sake. /endsalt

Location does mean alot but the games netcode is just straight up bad.
