Game constantly minimizes itself / Sound Cuts Out

Anyone else experiencing a bug where the game minimizes itself every 5-10 mins? The game doesn't crash or anything, it will just minimze and cause me to have to click on the taskbar icon to bring the game back up.

I don't have any issues with the game other than this. It is incrediably annoying, even more so in online matches. I will try playing in windowed mode to see if that fixes the problem. Just curious if anyone had this problem or some general advice. Thanks!

Edit: Putting the game in windowed mode makes the game pause itself now. I'm out of ideas.

I had this as well. Closing all other open windows on my desktop, including Steam, seemed to fix it. Too bad about all the framerate issues and random crashes. No cures for those issues yet. lol

I appreciate the suggestion, but it didn't work for me. I don't know if this is due to the update, but my game will either minimize or pause relentlessly now. It is nearly unplayable. Also, the sound is cutting out randomly.

I'm having the same issue as well.... very frustrating when you're online and it just minimizes or the mouse icon shows up so then I have to Ctrl+Alt+Delete. The matchmaking in this game seem stupid, matching up with people 30 ranks higher than you.

Think I've found the issue, The game.

Reason for this;

I contacted them, told me my MSINFO file was corrupt, everytme I opened it, it would say it was corrupt. I tried everything and nothing worked, couldn't fix it. I had to refresh my laptop, lose a lot of stuff and about 500GB worth of games I'll need to re download.

Once I refreshed it i started downloading the usual AVG etc and then download Nosgoth game, ran well and didnt minimise (The minimising wasn't just MK X). I tested my MSINFO file and it saved and opened fine, didn't say about it being corrupt and it closed down fine when usually it stops responding. I download Mortal Kombat X thinking "Great, I can play without it minimising now" . . . . Played and it minimised and I thought "Great, not again" . . . So I tested my MSINFO file again and BOOM... It had become corrupt again.

So since downloading Mortal Kombat X again... well installing it, It fully installed and is obviously installing something that probably doesn't agree with my Gaming Laptop (Yes I can run the game on my laptop, Its a pretty Hi spec Gaming Laptop).

So to answer your question now, You can't solve it if you're having the same problems as me as it seems to be the game causing the problem.
