No X-Arcade tankstick support for a fighting game ?!?
It's a shame, but seems Mortal Kombat X doesn't support the very best arcade jostick for fighting games, the X-Arcade...

It would be VERY easy for NetherRealm Studios to support it, as it uses only keyboard layout to emulate joystick functions? But, now, it's completely impossible to set keyboard for two players (and some keys are locked - setup menu for keyboard seems broken)

Will this stupid problem be fixed in an update ? Will the X-Arcade be supported ?

Thanks

Strange that it didn't detect the stick as a proper controller. I am using a heavily modded Street Fighter IV TE Fightstick and it seemed to have mapped everything perfectly. It IS showing up as an Xbox controller but technically, it IS one. Shouldn't take more than a couple minutes tops to remap the keys and save a profile for it.

Ahh I see where you were having a problem, the 2 player side of things. I'd be surprised if they didn't implement something that would let you set up the other side.

I'm late as hell with an answer. Yes it does work for this game. I just got this stick three weeks ago. All you have to do is plug you keyboard on the back of the stick. Switch the switch on the back to the second section. Then hit that black button on the back. The red light will turn off. Now your in program mode. To set a key. Hold a button on the joystick and at the same time hold a key on the keyboard. The light will blink twice letting you know the key has been mappped. Your stick will stay like that forever until you reprogram it. Depending on if you got the newer version with the battery in it. Easy. Now to adjust it for street fighter 5. Open the stick and bend all the micro switches on the joystick closer to the center. This will give you that good rotation motion you need for street fighter games. I got this info from the offical x-arcade website. Best stick and only stick you'll ever need.

Not sure I like having to program the keys for one game. This game has the works keybiard mapping maybe all-time. It is a shame this good game has to fail on the very simple part of mapping keys.

I'm not going to reprogram my Tankstick for one game...that means the rest of them will be messed up and I'll have to keep switching back and forth between modes. This is totally ridiculous that a company can't make the controls compltetely editable.

Lazy.
