How do you connect your WBplay account to MKX on Steam, or is it possible?

press Y or click on Connect to WB play in the lower left of the screen on the main menu.

Why is this WBplay account needed? Are there any benefits for PC users?
I assume you can play online being logged to steam only.

Not only Reiden Future Skin...Suposedly U can Get Farmer Jax, Classic Kitana, Classic Mileena and Ninja Mime Johnny Cage... But at least for me (just gettin started) I can't get the ninja mime and U get it only with the log in....
