Cool, great contribution.
Whats the deal with people saying "I can run X but not a fighting game?"
This particular fighter has stunning graphics. High detailed background, high quality textures and bloom. This game was made for current gen consoles, if your PC isn't up to snuff don't expect the same graphics, regardless of genre.
How does it explain everything?
Look at the previous page , and my previous comment, to understand my comment you are quoting in context.
X-ray moves and cutscenes are capped at 30fps
But to not be hitting 60fps in gameplay, with a GTX970, a fully capable card is just stupid.
I've also uncapped in my options.ini file, to no avail.
If you don't have the means to confirm, I don't understand why you are posting.
If you can help, in anyway, that would be great.
I'm running a GTX 760ti and running the game on max with anti aliasing turned down getting 60fps
I'm have an idea as to the problem, you know the infamous GTX970 vram garbage? Well MKX presently has some memory leaks, so people have cited the leak filling their vram or whatever and I have personally experienced memory leaks crashing the game after hours of playing.
If the leaks cause paging or any low performance hardware to be used, it is going to absolutely destroy performance. Factor that in with the fact recent drivers seem to decrease performance for some people and you end up with the situation presently going on. Best bet is just submitting bug reports to WB at this point, nothing that is really fixable on the users end.

But, It doesn't even use close to 2gb of VRAM, let alone 3.5gb :')
I've tried rolling back to older, recommended drivers, fresh install.
Hopefully it'll be updated sooner rather than later.
Also, the memory leak that has been report is RAM, under 8gb.
Surely you can see why people are getting annoyed though?
One unlockable character in the whole game, is BS too.
The game is good, could have been great, instead greed has hijacked the possibility.
It's still a great game when it works imo (luckily I have a really powerful rig to offset some of the bugs I've encountered for the most part), loving the variety towers provide... but yeah some things are a little wonky presently. It's just hard not to be cynical when there are a lot of people with toasters (that don't or barely meet requirements) ranting up a storm.
Because fighting games are 2d and there are only 2 characters on screen, its different that lets say a sandbox game where there is alot of stuff goin on
I haven't had any other problems, fingers crossed I won't.
Hopefully the devs are cracking on with a fix.
Seeing the FPS counter dance around 51fps, instead of 60fps is annoying to say the least!
Going to borrow my girlfriends, machine i5 4460 + GTX 750 ti and see if i can replicate the 71fps from that article!
I fully agree with your last statement too.
Yeah its old, so what? i run the game just fine, i just hve bug where the loading screens freezes (the screen with the fog and the loading bar at the bottom) but the story mode plays just fine
