Sound Problem
Is anyone having any sound problems? When I play (only in training or single kombat of course) the open screen I hear no voices and when the game actually starts I get no hit sounds at all. Anyone else having this problem or can anyone help me with fixing this problem?

Yeah, I can't hear any of the voices during the pre-fight cutscenes nor the announcer during the fight. I thought it had something to do with my setup but every other game seems to be working fine.

I have no voices in story mode cutscenes.

I think I'll just wait for a fix or whatever, or just stick with one on one fights because I can't play story mode without listening to the dialogue. :/

Same issue here... I don't have any sound as far as voices or announcers.

BUMP anyone figure this one out?

Not as of yet, I tried verifying the integredity of the game files. When I start MKX it tries to do the initial unpackaging and configuring. Then it goes to a "failed to load app" screen. Then it starts the game as normal after I double click it agian.

I am going to uninstall and install the damn thing agian and see if this helps.

Have a similar problem but I get no sound at all. Tried changing volume in game with no results and the configuration tool or whatever it is either crashes immediately or doesn't open at all. I'm using on board sound with Steel Series H-Wireless headphones.

I think i MIGHT have kinda figured it out:

I changed my sound card setting (Windows 7) which was on 5.1 to basic 2 speakers and now i can hear the dialog.

My only conclusion is a bug that has the announcer and in game voices flagged to come through the subwoof really low instead of the speakers...?

idk it does work now, just doesnt make full use of my sound system anymore.

Had my headphones at 7.1 Surround sound on Win 7 64bit changed it to 2.0 as suggested and it seems to be working now. Probably have to wait for a patch to get anything decent out of it.

Go to your control panel and change from surround sound to stereo. I had a similar issue in DMC

I don't know if it has to do, but in the story mod, in the second chapter, I had a kind of sound desynchronisation with several little echoes. And this glitch is remained until I quit the game. Did someone else have this issue ?
