4) Of the games I played, it's a two way tie between MK vs DC and MK (2011)

Both games have garbage netcode, are missing connection quality and region filtering (on consoles) options, and have a bunch of game breaking glitches.

1) Sheeva MK3, the skin rip fatality was just so top teir
2) Scorpion, I think his best costume was his UMK3 one, but that's because I liked teh design of all the pallette-swapped ninjas in that one, I think his worst was his defualt in MK9.
3) UMK3 always has been and always will be the best because it was just so over the top in everyway while still staying balanced and fun to play
4) I really disliked Armageddon, it felt like it was trying to be Triligy but without all the fun and fatalities
5) I think Tsu Hao (or whatever his name is) is the worst. He always felt like a lazy Kano with Russian Stereotypes.
6) Smoke MK3 Appoclypse
7) because ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game is good.

1. too many to remember but my favorite is haviks leg rip and head bash in mkd or quan chi's in mkda for the lulz
2. again too many to choose from but sub zero is one of my faves. best costume probably in mksm or primary in mkd and worst in mk3
3. probably mk2 because it had the best characters, story, arenas, and best boss fights with mkd a close 2nd
4. I wanna say sub zero mythologies cuz it was so damn hard but if I played special forces I would probably hate that more

1. What is the most brutal fatality you have ever seen in MK series?

Brutal, by definition, is not meaningfully differentiated from cruel, which is primarily characterized by causing pain. Thus, I interpret this question mostly as "which one is most painful."

Pre-Armageddon I wrote a Kolumn about all the fatalities for Dave's MK, which I'm surprised to see still exists:

At that time, I took the liberty of assuming Li Mei's deception fatality was a pressure-point technique similar to the 5-point exploding palm technique done in Kill Bill 2. The main difference between the two is that Li Mei lands more strikes and the result is the whole body explodes, rather than just the heart. As long as you are willing to believe that pressure points are more painful than most other injuries, then this fatality should be up there in the conversation. Most finishers displayed quick deaths, but this one was by far the one that seemed the most delayed.

Otherwise, you have to default to Scorpion's "toasty" fatalities. Science has long said that fire is the most painful of all sensations. It's not necessarily gory, but its cruel as cruel can be. IIRC, I think the MK 4 variation is the only one that's more realistic in the time it takes for the victim to actually succumb to death and collapse.

Now, to be fair, I have to admit that MK X seems to be really pushing into new territory. Some of the "fatalities" don't even seem to be automatically fatal. Crippling? Yes, but with immediate surgery a person might actually survive. You might be surprised at what people can endure. I've met a woman who survived a gunshot to the head and miraculously was not adversely affected by the brain damage.

2. Who is your favourite character and in which MK you think he/she was the best? which MK had his/her best costum design and which had the worst?

I am a big fan of Li Mei. Pre-Deadly Alliance, the Outworld was typecast as an enitrely evil group. That's not realistic. Good stories need to acknolwedge dissent exists everywhere, and MK5 finally opened up the story a bit. Another reason I like Li Mei is because her story, at the time, wasn't about establishing her as an experienced fighter. I think fighting games are plagued by a gross failure to recognize the value in letting their audiences follow the journey of a character's growth and training. Li Mei gave me a lot of optimism for MK's untapped potential. I can't say things have gone as I would have wanted - rebooting the story is too gimmicky and a pathetic way to artificially extend the franchise's lifespan - but I digress.

Deception/Armageddon shared the same costumes, and these armored looks were my favorite because they are some of the only appropriate attire for fighting. There are too many skimpy outfits that serve no real purpose other than sex appeal. Li Mei's DA alt was a flagrant example of this.

3. Which MK game is your all time favourite MK and why? Probably Deception. The Konquest mode was the closest thing to the MK RPG I've always wanted.

4. Which MK is your most hated MK and why? MK 9. As I started to say earlier, rebooting the story is just pathetic and won't do anything to move the story along. I'm also not a fan of going back to 2D and I'm disgusted that they have abandoned giving the characters distinct martial arts styles.

5. Who do you hate the most in MK series and in which MK you hate them the most? Asides form guest fighters, I don't think I've hated anyone as much as Bo Rai Cho. Martial arts require discipline. Gluttony and drunkeness are not assets, let alone viable styles. The character is nothing but a disgraceful, LCD joke.

6. What is your favourite finishing move? As a whole, friendships. MK has never really addressed why allies are forced to fight against each other in the arcade ladders, but there needs to be something so that characters who would spare their opponent have the ability to do it without having to do nothing. If I have to narrow it down to one, Cage's autograph was the most fitting.

7. Tell why are you an MK fan in only 7 words or less

MK9 Kung Lao's Razor's Edge fatality, I think it's gross.

2. Who is your favourite character and in which MK you think he/she was the best?
Kenshi was my favorite character in mk9.

Even though I played first MK's and I enjoyed them, I'd still give the crown to MK9. The graphics and gameplay were pretty awesome.

4. Which MK is your most hated MK and why?
MK vs DC. Universe, I don't like DC characters in MK. I'd rather have more MK characters. In fact I find even the MKX's guest characters rather silly.

5. Who do you hate the most in MK series and in which MK you hate them the most?
Noob saibot in MK9.

6. What is your favourite finishing move?
Babality! We probably don't get these in MKX.

7. Tell why are you an MK fan in only 7 words or less
Because fighting games are awesome.

1. Honestly find Goro's head shove fatality in MKX pretty damn brutal.
   
2. Johnny Cage, hated him back in MK1, but MK9 won me over (and the MKX teasers have cemented it for me). Honestly never paid attention to his costumes until recently, so can't answer that.
   
3. Presently MK9, since it brought me back to the series.
   
4. MK Mythologies: Sub-Zero... It has been so long all I really remember is the game pissed me off. Haven't played any of the spin-offs or 6th console gen titles, so my perspective is skewed.
   
5. The cyborgs, I just find the designs awful.
   
6. Just plain ole fatalities. Love the variety from character to character.
   
7. The story, the gore, and the controls.

1. Rain's knee breaker fatality in MK9 was the worst one for me, pushed all the wrong (right) buttons.

2. Kung Lao. No idea what game I'd say he was best in. I had some success with him in UMK3 so I'll go with that.
I've been a fan of most of his looks. That's pretty easy to say though, seeing as they don't change all that much between games. His MK3 look holds a special place in my heart so I'll choose that. I'd say the worst look for him was his default one in MK DA. I still liked it, just not as much as the others.

3. Deadly Alliance. Though my reasons for that are less about how great the game was and more about the fact that I was actually pretty good at it. I played it so much that I could beat everyone I knew at it. It's been a few years since I last played it so I might've gotten rusty.

4. Does Special Forces count? I was so psyched for that game when I first heard about it. The first time I played it I tried to lie to myself that I was having fun. Took a while for me to come to terms with how terrible it was. I never actually finished it and to this day I still have this damned thing sitting in a box somewhere in my house. At least it gave us Tremor.
If I'd have to choose one of the fighting games I'd go with MK vs. DC, I didn't like the story or most of the movesets and the more tame finishing system was a bit of a let down.

5. Dairou has always felt rather bland and pointless to me, both gameplay and lorewise. His moveset and finishers didn't stand out to me either. I wouldn't mind seeing more of him if they ever give us some more Order/Chaos action in the future. I just hope they do something interesting with him.

6. Kung Lao's blade saw from Shaolin Monks and MK9.

7. Fatalities are cool.

4. Uhm gotta be armageddon, seemed very rushed and a "just throw everyone and everything we already got in there" game.

7. Thing that got me hooked back then was the real life looking graphics, (I have a thing for graphics) the atmosphere, fatalities and of course all these combined in a fighting game which is my favorite genre. Still love and play MK1 at times.

Not sure about this, I don't accent myself on brutality of fatalities(lol).

2. Who is your favourite character and in which MK you think he/she was the best? which MK had his/her best costum design and which had the worst?
I don't have clear favourite character, costume-wise I like Liu Kang MKX, Scorpion MKD, Sub-Zero MKD, Kitana MKX. Oh, and Sonya MK3!
Probably favorite is Sub-Zero, since I first saw MK. And Deception costume of him is exceptional!

3. Which MK game is your all time favourite MK and why?
Mortal Kombat Deception, cuz Konquest and everything else.
And Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks, well, it is weird to hate this game.
I like exploration in MK Universe, it's so good.

4. Which MK is your most hated MK and why?
MKvsDC, I didn't even play injustice. I don't like comic characters for 99.9999%(except Batman, may be, but not in MK it is for sure). Prefer to ignore them at all. Other games are fine.

5. Who do you hate the most in MK series and in which MK you hate them the most?
Can't hate anyone in MK really, but I can live without Mokap.

6. What is your favourite finishing move?
Prolly Liu Kang kung-fu Ball from MKSM and Darrius swap fatality from MKD.

7. Tell why are you an MK fan in only 7 words or less
Because everything and world is favorite part.

P.S. My opinion, I don't think that one can consider yourself as MK fan, if he didn't like 3d era at all.
