I did the same thing as you, won 15 and then quit. You have to lose on the 16th, so I had to redo it again.

I can confirm this too. 15 wins then a loss, logging out does not count.

Why would u log off / quit ? better to be safe and lose to make sure you get full credit for it. I got it on my 18th steak as I lost on the 19th not on purpose just the AI beat me.

Yeah, I can confirm that you do get it after dying on the 16th match.
