MKX not launching WINDOWS 10

I just verified cache and it still doesn't work :/

Edit: MKX was not launching because a buggy controller driver, nothing to do with windows 10 as it works fine with the default drivers that windows installed.

yah, i dont know what happened, it was working for me, before i just downloaded this new patch, like 10 minutes ago. now the game loads up, but my sound makes a weird static hiss thing, i see the intro with all the companies logos, but then the screen just goes black.

I'm guessing you upgrade to Windows 10 from XP/Vista/7/8.1.I would try to run it in compatibilty mode which is my only idea which I personally don't own windows 10 , but most of the cases most Windows have a compatibity mode.

well, that's not the problem here, cause before this new patch today, the game ran, now it doesn't. is there a way i can revert the patch?

well, that's not the problem here, cause before this new patch today, the game ran, now it doesn't. is there a way i can revert the patch?

You can only remove or pick selected dlc that you own that I'm award of

well switching to compability stopped my sound going crazy, game loads up, i see the monotype logo, and other logos, steam overlay shows up. then the game just freezes and gets stuck on black.

ill try switching to Windows 7 compatibility

if i can't get it to work, ill also report it to Nvidia

I'm guessing it did not work? mine works fine , but of course i'm running Win 7 which only had one issue with MK X from launch until now which was a FPS drop from the pre-predator patch.

ya its working switching to Windows 7, but now i lost all my skins that i worked for, for Kitana and ♥♥♥♥, and all my stuff is gone, lol, yay

Ok, so now it works without the compatibility.....but i still lost all of my skins...like my awesome kitana one......fml

doesn't make sense since it saved to a Steam cloud. Did you try restarting Steam?

no, i have steam cloud disabled, i know why my skins are gone, its cause i had installed Windows 10, and then i had to re-install the game, that's prob why. o well, its not hard to get the skins back, that's what Cheat Engine is for lol, but now i am enabling steam cloud for this reason :P

Windows 10 64bit here using the latest amd drivers and the game works just fine for me. This could be because I dont have any of the dlc content though which could be the problem you are experience at the moment but at least is working on compatibility mode :D

I always have Steam cloud Enable because you never know and there only one game where it takes like almost 5 mins to upload ur save files... (terraria)

the weird part is, it worked in compatibility mode, then i switched it off, and it worked again LOL

gotta love this game at times, weird how things fix it and break it. i guess that's with any game tho. o well, i miss my Dark Empress skin :(

well its enabled now. so this time it won't happen :D
