PC-Controller - Falsche Belegung / Interchanged buttons

Hey Community,

ich habe mir heute einen Controller gekauft (Speedlink Torid Gamepad), jedoch sind die Tasten falsch belegt, z.B. ist bei MK die anstatt die Taste "A", die "B" Taste. Das heißt, wenn bei MK "Bestätigen Sie mit A" steht, muss ich bei mir auf "B" drücken.

So ist das auch mit "Y" und "X", es ist vertauscht... habt ihr ne Idee woran das liegen könnte?
Die RB, LB Tasten habe ich nicht probiert.

I just bought the Controller: "Speedlink Torid Gamepad". And the problem is, the Buttons like "A", "B", "Y" and "X" are interchanged. That means when the Game says: "Please push A to continue" I have actually push "B" to continue. The buttons "Y" and "X" are Interchanged too.

What's the reason? Can some1 help me?

Probably the button layout is different that the Xbox 360 controller. That's why you have to push different buttons from what you see on the screen.

I searched about the gamepad (because you didn't give details about it) and well, it's strange because it has the same layout as the X360 controller.

I don't know what could be causing the issue.

I'm looking the SPEEDLINK website and it says that has DirectInput and XInput, but it doesn't say anything about if you have to change it or that is automatic. Do the controller have any switch for it or something? Check that.

But just for having XInput support it should be working as intended as if it were an X360 controller.

Just bought myself a fight stick recently and done some rebinding, was a bit of a pain but heres how i managed a rebinding:

On win 7: Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Devices and Printers and then see if you can see you're controller, right click on it Game Controller Settings and then properties. There should be a Rebind button you can press and then change the buttons.

Check if you got any software with the gamepad. like a disk, or seach online for drivers. Install them and then Restart you're computer (they wont rebind if you just install and don't restart) and you should be good to go. Hopefully this gets you on the right path to rebinding you're keys, best of luck buddy.

Dann hast Du zwar das Playstation Layout, aber die Buttons werden dann richtig angezeigt

Guys, I have found the "problem". As Neizel mentioned the "DirectInput" and "XInput", I had to switch between them, the only thing is, that I don't know which Mode I'am using right now. But it's all fine now.

Glad you've found the solution! Thanks for posting here about how you went about fixing it. Means in future if anyone has this issue they'll find the answer on google now!

Nice you fixed it!

But what did you do to solve that? To take notes if someone appears with similar issues.

Hey Guys! As I mentioned, I switched between XInput and DirectInput while I pressed and hold the mid-circled button called "Speedlink" on my controller for approx 5 seconds. Then the controller switched between these Mods.
The mid-circled button on the original Xbox controller is called "Xbox" I think.
