my game does not launch

i bought this game today and installed it but there seems to be a problem when i click the green play button(it looks like it open then its becoming green again and says 'play')

all my drivers are uptated

so i tried verify integrity of the game files and there is no missing file

i also tried to right click the icon for compatibility settings but i couldn't see the image of the game in the local files so i tried on shortcut but couldn't see the competibility settings

idk what to do i bought this game and i dont want to deal with these stupid things

I've been having the same issue and nothing's been able to fix it, I don't know what to do. Everything's up to date and fine but refuses to fully launch when I press play

But if we speak more serious, then you could just read some methods of solving the issue in recent very same topics... There are enough of them, because as you have already noticed this game is full of... surprises, and quite enough of players experiencing troubles with launching this game.

You can find some ".exe" files {at least 3 of them} by the path D:\Steam\steamapps\common\MK10\Binaries\Retail . It is not hard to check some folders when you have pressed "Browse local files" looking for the game icon exe files...
At first you could try to tick these files as "run as an administrator" and/or in Windows7 compatibility mode... Maybe it will help you, who knows. Different methods help different people.

But honestly, just read some similar threads here... I'm a bit tired to write all same comments with some methods that helped different players.
Most probably you just need to delete this game completely, and install it again. With restarting your PC and Steam. And {after reinstalling} try to launch it several times in a row.

The only thing that helped me was renaming the "mk10.exe" file and then running it only through it. But every time I have to rename it to a completely different name to launch, and at the same time, random crashes at the fighter selection stage have not disappeared anywhere.
