Leatherface Berserk stance question

So I am kind of enjoying the least liked member of the cast (though unwarranted. COME ON Jason vs. Leatherface) however I have noticed a few things. First off it seems like his killer variant is just the best since it gives you that awesome stance which lets you do some awesome combos (and pretty lady is possible with some range annoyance but not sure, not tested it).

However I noticed his stance 2 move (no escape) is negative on HIT. You are at -1 on hit. Not sure but isn't it a bit backwards for it to be -1 or did I miss the memo that your reset is monstrous? Like I say though, managing to find some near 40% (getting 38-39% combos for 1 meter while getting 24% with no bar) so any notes on this?
