how to do Subzero's Polar puncture in a Keybord

OK, so i can do subs polar puncture(his command grab) on it's own pretty consistently on a keyboard. But cancelling stings into doesn't seem to work for me. I don't know whats wrong. I tried to do it on my xbox controller and ever though i can't do the move on consistent basis it(cancelling stings like 1,1,1 / b1,2 / f1,2 / f4,2 into it that is) works where as with a keyboard it never work. Guys i need some help with it. I'm not sure what i'm doing wrong. If anyone can help i'd appreciate that. And thanks!!

All i can say is it works for me on keyboard just fine, try speeding up maybe you are being late

here is the thing i press dbf3 immediately after doing the stings don't work. ! time it worked when i was a little late. Is there any tips you can give on how you do it.

I did those 2 for some guy in the past asking about cryomancer comboes, I do a ton of dbf3 in those and all of it on keyboard without fail so that can be refference materiall for the timing, I can't really tell you what you are doing wrong coz i never saw you attempt to do it.
Hopefully this hepls, otherwise I'd need you to show me some footage of you trying to do it coz I just can't identify the problem without information

i dial in dbf3 before the animation for 3rd hit of 1,1,1 finishes. Is that too slow???

yeah its a bit slow, when you are cancelling into specialls you generally cut a bit of the normall (the last 1 in this case) so inputting before the last 1 is finished is not quite enough, keep in mind you can buffer it all, you don't need to wait for anything. If you want you can do 111 dbf3 before the first 1 even connects lol.
doing normalls into specialls in this game has nothing to do with timing all that matters is that you do the buttons clean and you aren't late
