Locked at 30fps?
No frame smoothing in options before you try that, also every vysnc option even "Disable" doesn't change anything. I want free frames. This thing runs doom at max 120fps. I need answers.

No it isn't locked. The gameplay is 60fps, and the story mode cinematics are 60fps. The intros, x-rays, and fatalities are all locked at 30fps though. So the game is constantly going back and forth between 30 and 60fps. It's very noticeable and greatly affects the presentation negatively. Might even make someone light weight nauseous if they're very senstive to constant and large changes in framerate.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but you're wrong. I think you might want to check again, because the issue is on your end.

Bandicam says otherwise. And I can tell because its choppy. It's locked. Either help or don't answer, simple as that.

Why are you even asking then?
I have 60 fps, but you don't care for answers, seems like.

This thing runs doom at 120fps MAX settings, i think my "Issue" isn't on my end. And you're right. I want solutions, which you two fail to give. I paid my money. I want what I paid for. Is that too much to ask?

Check your Nvidia control panel.

What should I be looking for?

For some reason after the last patch changed my native resolution in the Nvidia settings control panel to 2160p @ 30hz locking my framerate. Never seen a game do that before but go figure with this game. Just changed it back to 2160p @ 60hz and now I'm getting 60FPS again.

So, go into your control panel and check if your resolution and refresh rates are set correctly. Also check for application-specific settings (for MKX) there, if there are any.

Sorry, can't point any better, I have an AMD card.

I think that mkx is the only nvdia thing used, it's just bad programming i guess?

Don't know. But I can say with complete accuracy that the game is not locked at 30fps, as can every other person here. So yea...

What's raising a few eyebrows is you. The guy who's instantly blaming the game without even considering it could be a problem on your end or user error. You give no one any information to go on, except for your "alienware" can run DOOM at 120fps. Not a good way to ask for help eh?

But if it makes you feel better keep thinking everyone here is lying, the game is 30fps locked, and everything is good on your end. Honestly dude, just refund the game. You and MKX are just not meant to be.
