Thank you very much, I was thinking that it was happened in some other mortal kombat game that I missed.
Thank you very much I do not even know that exist a comics of it. I will download and read it now.
Too bad I do not found it complete in Portuguese language, only some few chapters exist in Portuguese, I will be forced to read in english, need to prepare my english Portuguese dictionary...
The comics have a "feeling" that we get the story on the mid, not in the begin. The scorpion that I know from the old times when I was a teenager with just 15 years old playing on arcades was a scorpion ghost from hell with a skull head hidden by a mask that only seeks revenge... Now he looks like have a human body with blood and flesh...
I figured it had something to do with him being restored from being a Revenant under Shinnok's control. The process is said to bring people back to life, so if Scorpion was undead to begin with, then it would go the extra step and turn him into a living human.
It is a bit of a shame, though. I miss my screaming skull face Scorpion.
Thanks for the answer, I am now at chapter 20 of comics, Scorpion still have the power to bring fire and still have his skull head... I guess he still a "revenant" or a "ghost", however he have a true body of bones, blood and flesh...
About the comics I begin really to like a lot Kotal Khan, I'm hoping he'll win every challenge and keep like emperor forever.
1 - He`s been resurrected, when Raiden saved Cage from Quan Chi`s curse, reversing his spell. A wave from Raiden`s spell also resurrected Jax and Sub Zero (this event takes place in the past, just after the first chapter and before the actual MKX events and shown as flashback)
2 - This is new-formed Shirai Ryu, same as Lin Quei. Just read the official comix.
Kotal is good in comix. Man of a word and honor, a good ally. But in the game they`ve made him a stoopid doublefaced redneck.
