Is there something wrong with Sub-Zero now?

I just started playing MKXL again after a long absence from the game. Trying out one of my fav characters SZ, and when I try to do the move "Ability to Freeze" he doesnt stab him with the ice dagger anymore at the end of the combo. He just sort of grabs the enemy and throws them across the screen. I cant even do the ability anymore where he sticks the dagger into the enemey's brain killing them. What the hell is going on?

The last part of the combo is a command grab now. The combo itself is just what the other variations do.

I use the three SZ variations but Cryo is the least I like. Anyway, I think the changes make him a deeper character. Now you can play a lot of "mind game" with the new command grab.
