Sub zeros ice daggers into hammer is super inconsistant
So using artic assault while not in a combo you can press the input for the frost hammer any time in the animation and it will work
But doing it in combo it doesnt work it has a super strict timing i cant get down can anyone tell me the indicators?

P.S. Don't buy MK X, buy MK XL. I don't know the price in your country but in Russian Steam full edition is cheaper than basic edition :)
I have it disabled and im inputing the hammer on the third knife hit but is still doesnt work
btw on the XL edition i have the option to buy all content for 130 dollars if i removed the seperate characters from the cart will i still get them because it comes with both kombat packs
and if i connect my WB account will it transfer everything?

Yes, MK XL = MK X + all characters. Can't say anything about WB account for sure, I think yes, it will transfer everything.
Is there an indicator in the animation or something i should look for to know when to input the hammer

No. I think you may practice it in training mode, this is the best way to understand how to do it. I am sorry that I can't help you, I am not a great player so can't give any 100 % working advice.

For the future , you can que up any special move durring startup , active and a portion of recovery frames (recovery frames - cancell frames = recovery during whitch you can still que up the move) Keep in mind that moves that don't have cancell frames cannot be followed up unless they have some crazy + frames on hit and don't knock enemy down or they launch.You can find the frames in moves list for every move. If you have any other questions then hit me up.

Did they change the frame data on command grab when it used to be part of a string you could special cancel it when the third dagger comes out but now the timing is put the input as soon as subzero pulled the opponent infront of him

And why is it harder to special cancel it in combo instead of doing it raw

It isn't , you may just have problems focusing on it after other imputs but its exacly the same.

It isn't , you may just have problems focusing on it after other imputs but its exacly the same.
It is
Doing it raw you can put the input for the hammer at any time and it will come out

Go to practice mode and check inputs... probably you are pushing some wrong input because Hammer is bufferable even before Arctic Puncture starts to animate.
