Gamepad Controller on Mac not working

I'm playing this on a MacBook and everything loads fine and allows me to move the character and do the jumps in the intro of the game, but once the tutorial part starts (do a combo), I am only able to grapple and move the character around in different directions. It doesn't allow me to punch or anything.

I have an XBox One Controller and a PS4 DualShock Controller. I've tried both plugged Bluetooth and Plugged In. Any help would be great! Thanks
