Compatibility Settings options greyed out
The executable's compatibilty settings for some reason are greyed out.
I can turn on compatibility mode and select an operating system,
but all of the settings below are greyed out whether the mode is on or off.

I want to disable visual themes because it might solve the double cursor issue according to
some reports but am being kept from doing so because of this. I have never seen this issue
with any executable before so I'm stumped as to how they've configured this exec to where
I cannot change the compatibility settings.

Clicking change settings for all users doesn't make any difference, either.

Which WIndows?
In WIndows 10, I only see "Reduce Colour mode" and "Run in 640x480" as greyed out.
I dont see visual themes, so I assume you not on Win10?

But I believe greyed out options is an issue with 64bit applications and afaik SDDE is 64bit only.

Edit: Even without the compatability option, you could disable visual themes in WIndows temporaraly, and test. If it does not solve the cursor problem, then you can look for other solutions.

I'm running Windows 7x64. Thanks for the suggestion as per disabling the visual themes globally to test it. Looks like it isn't making a difference and I'm back to being completely stumped on this bug.

Are you seeing the windows cursor, in game? (on top of the games cursor?)

Did you try to disable the STEAM overlay for the game, as well as any other overlays like Discord etc?

And did you try this:

Besides whats advised there, try setting pointers to "none" also.
