Dual monitor issue still exist?
I own the original game but it ran bad and I couldn't run a fullscreen resolution when I got a second TV, this seemed to be a common problem on the original edition and I just want to know if anybody is experiencing such an issue with the definitive edition before I buy it.

Both my monitors are 32" Samsung TV's to a GTX 780 via an HDMI and a DVI, I use the primary monitor (HDMI) for games and the secondary (DVI>DSUB) for desktop/temps/browsers/videos - the issue was I could no longer run the game on either monitor at full screen, it's like it was scaling all wrong and it would end up covering both screens unless I set a crazy low resolution.

I couldn't find a fix anywhere and it's the only game I have that has the problem so I just gave up and deleted it, hopefully the definitive edition doesn't have this issue.

Cheers.

Hey, i have not played this game, i just came here looking for an answer myself as to wether it is better played with controller or keyboard and mouse. This problem you are having however, i have seen something similar in one or two other games, maybe the solution for those would work for you, maybe i will know myself soon too lol.

try pressing (windows key + P) this allows you to change from extended desktop to single monitor for the duration of your gaming session

select computer only to use just one monitor, then when you wanna go back, change back to extended.

hope this helps you Duane.

An update. i just ran the game and left it in extended desktop,
It did black screen my second monitor so i just turned it off. Other than that it seemed fine, running well, no framerate issuse as i have seen others post and most importantly to yourself, the scalling seemed fine, pretty dam nice looking game, but all the jibber jabber in the market was creeping me out lol.

again, hope this helps

peace

Thanks, I'll try the extended switch but I like to be able to have the spare screen with everything on it - I'm sure it used to work fine with this game but I changed something driver related and it wouldn't run fullscreen anymore.

I think I alt+tabbed out and then back in to get rid of the black extended screen before, this also works with a few other games I have - usally leaves the extended screen visible and on the desktop but I can't click on it.

I run dual monitors from my GTX770 (HMDI+DVI) I have no issues running the game at 1920x1080, but then again I had no issue with the non definitive version.
