Chief Inspector Achievement Not Unlocking

Under stats, the gold medal for Completionist shows 96.88%, but I've completed everything in the game (Collecitbles, Favors, Missions, Cases, Random Events, Races, Trans Jobs, Rolands Jobs). In-game stats show this as well.

The only thing I HAVEN'T done are all the missiosn that came with the Wheels of Fury DLC. However, the guides all seem to say that this is not required.

Going back and replaying the first martial arts club did not help. Thoughts?

Please complete the Wheels of Fury DLC missions. The Definitive Edition Chief Inspector requirements are different to the original game's achievement system in that it requires you to complete the DLCs as well.

Also, the Wheels of Fury car is kick ass :P

I did the 5 main DLC missions, and unlocked the new car. LOVE it. Use it as my main vehicle. I guess all the new post-DLC missions around the map are required too? Did a couple but not all. Will give it a shot. Could be the online guides are wrong. This is the last achievement I need. Thanks for the quick response!

Yea, you'll probably have to complete those as well. The online guides might be referring to the non-defintive edition in which case some stuff may be wrong :) Enjoy!

Yup, that was it! Now have 100%!. Thanks Another difference I noticed from the achievement guides - In the Year of the Snake DLC after completing the storyline, the collectibles only showed up on my small mini-map, but not the full map as they apparantly did in the other (Playstation/Xbox) versions.

The only achievement I have left is the Chief Inspector one. There is nothing left in the game for me to do.. but it still won't unlock.

I read in other forums that the trick is to do a fight club and it will unlock.. I did 2 one in central and one in North Point.. Still not unlocking. My completionist award says I am at 96.35%.

I've done it before during the story.. After I thought I was done, I replayed the Central and North Point fight clubs. Still no unlock.

I could try doing the other two clubs again to see if that does anything.

EDIT: Just completed all 4 fight clubs.. no unlock yet. I have to be missing something somewhere. I thought this achievement would unlock after everything else unlocked, but that is obviously not the case here as this is my last remaining achievement for this game.

I love this game so much that I normally don't care about acheivements but was willing to try to get 100%. Frustrating.

Edit 2: On a whim, I thought I'd try the derby and cruise missions - other forums said that they don't contribute to the achievement. I've been avoiding them because I can't seem to finish a derby mission. I just finished a cruise mission and my completionist award went from 96.35% to 96.88% Maybe this is the key.

Edit3: I'm posting this to help people like myself who have been confused about this acheivement. Turns out what I was missing wasn't the fight clubs, but the Wheels of Fury Derbys and Cruises. So, if you think you're missing something for the achievement, then try completing these missions.

Hi, I've completed absolutely everything with the exception of 2 clothing items missing which I was supposed to have obtained from lockboxes. I know this because I have checked guides for all the clothing and I have all the versions of clothing that appear in stores and all the lockboxes but these 2 lockbox clothing items are missing from my wardrobe. Just to note, these 2 items are one of the J Jiggler Track Tops (not red or blue) and the Couronne puffy vest (not red).

This is preventing me from getting the completionist stat award (and thus the pure gold achievement as I dont want to waste my time on gambling or disarms), and also the Chief Inspector achievement.

I'm really surprised at the quality of this game, it'd riddled with bugs such as vehicle sound not playing in certain locations, crashes etc. And the fact that it's also version 1.0 says a lot, clearly no post release support was made available and a lot of issues that weren't present in the original game were introduced for no apparent reason.

I'm really tearing my hair out trying to understand the logic behind even relasing this remake other than grabbing at cash, most of the newer effects are low quality, unnoticeable or undesirable, SSAA does absolutely nothing other than reduce fps. The single thing this game has to rely on in the main story and the original was more appreciable than that.

PLEASE FIX THIS GOD FORSAKEN GAME.

My rage has subsided and I can now actually help some people!! So if you read my issue above you get where I was at. Leading on from there, I had previously completed all the derbies and cruises but they reappeared on my map seemingly because I reloaded an earlier save at one point or steam cloud sync went bonkers but at the time I thought they just reappeared anyway. I have now completed all the derbies and cruises and fixed my issues above (except for the 2 missing clothing items but meh). It's worth noting that each individual derby or cruise contributes no % to your completion, but if you complete all the derbies and cruises you will gain a % increase regardless. Hope this helps somebody :)

This is for those of you who are like me that feel the satisfaction of completing a game by unlocking 100% of all the achievements. I was stuck trying to obtaining this final achievement. I read several guides on the "Chief Inspector" achievement. The most common solution was to complete the North Point Fight Club one more time, because for some reason the game does not register your completion of that particular event. I tried completing the Fight Club, only to be disappointed when I did not see any achievement notification pop up. I even went as far as completing the other 3 Fight Clubs, but still no luck. So as the previous posts of this discussion forum advised, I decided to complete the Derby and Cruise events (there are 8 in total, 2 in each area of the city) and to my surprise I had unlocked the Chief Inspector achievement! So if the Fight Club solution does not work, try completing all of the Derby/Cruise events. I hope this will help someone.

I'm sad because I got chief inspector before getting everything so I don't feel like I'm trying to get the achievement.

I have done all of these things and the achievement has not unlocked.

Edit: Solved. I was missing one shoplifter event (and two missions of Tran).

i had same problem like this, i finish every thing but i didn't see the status in sleeping dogs, i finally found the mistake was , i didn't finish the job 50, then i did 50 jobs, you can find in your phone ( car job ). no need any dlc for this

I also had 96.88%, I got 100% and the achievement after completing Zodiac Tournament.

I'm on the same boat here.
I have completed all that shows on the statistics page: events, jobs (including Tran's), races, etc. I have all the achievements related to those.
There are two things I haven't done: get my triad experience to 10 (I'm at 9 atm) and the cruise races.
I haven't done any of the "Nightmare in North Point" or the "Year of the Snake" stories from the main menu. Seeing this is the Definitive edition we are talking about, I'll update this if I earn the achievement in some way.

I can confirm that doing all the Cruise races (the first thing I tried to complete) unlocked the achievement.
