Help: Year of the Snake (definititve edition), what now?

I had the original SLEEPING DOGS, but didnt have the DLC, so I bought the DEFINITITVE EDITION since the DLC would have cost me more *without a sale.

The problem:
I started the DEFINITIVE EDITION on the YEAR OF THE SNAKE by selecting it in the main menu and starting.

I ran through the YEAR OF THE SNAKE and finished NEW YEARS EVE along with all missions in the YotSNAKE and then it just reloaded me at the police station but with nothing left to do.

What do I do now?
Was it a mistake to just start on the YotSNAKE or is it just a standalone world in itself?

now ur "last save" is the year of the snake. its a standalone kind of map, just press the "Main story" and reload your last auto save. this will bring you to the "real world" of SD.

Thank you for the response, the problem is that I have NEVER started the main story, so when I click on it, it starts a new game, regardless of my YotSnake win.

Year of the snake gives u only couple of outfits, and a gun after u complete it. thats what u get in your Main story map.
the year of the snake cant be "continued" straight into your main story.
its same with the Other DLC, they all have different maps with different objectives, but the DLC completion rewards do go to your main story game.

all is left for you, is start a main story game. and you will have the rewards in your game.

Ok, thank you, so when I start a NEW MAIN GAME, it will know that I have completed Year of the Snake, EVEN if I hadn't started the main story yet, I literally have not begun the main story at all in the Definitive Edition.

BTW, I beat the main story in regular version of the game and I bought the Definitive so I could get the DLC, hence my lack of interest in the main story line.

just check that by seeing if you have the police outfit, and the golden gun in your apartment.
