side note: my PC was perfectly fine before I started playing SD:DE. Just played and finished shadow of mordor and tomb raider the past month or so. Now, I've been experiencing freezes and lockups even outside of SD:DE. I'm now doing a backup of my entire steam library as I type this just in case I need to reset my win 8.1 installation.
It is a pity that someone is trying to sell these games, I personally do this manufacturer probably will not come.
you change the game settings to medium?
Game crashes after several minutes, including an error saying something along the lines of a display driver stopped working and has recovered.
No issues on any other games including shadow of mordor, dirt 3 etc.
Running:
System Windows 8.1 64-bit
MoBo: ASUS Z97 Pro
Processor: Intel i7-4790k
RAM: 8GB
Graphics Card: Nvidia Geforce GTX 780 Ti
All drivers are up to date as far as I'm aware.
I have tried all combos of reinstalling game and windows, change each setting including windowed mode, HUD, all graphic settings with them all ending in a crash.
- also have a friend with a low end pc with same issue
CPU: AMD FX-8320 Eight-Core @ 4 GHz
GPU: GTX 660
RAM: 2 x 4 GB
Operating System: Windows 8.1 64-Bit
Drives: 2 x 1 TB
EDIT : I unstalled the Steam Cleaner (used to remove redistribuable packages in Steam) then I verified my game cache - Seems fine for now.
EDIT 2 : The game is now (almost) stable. It keeps crashing only after one or two hours more or less...
cpu :amd fx-8370 @ 4.8ghz stable
GPU: amd 7970 @stock 1ghz
ram 4 x 4gb 1600
windows 10
drive 1 tb evo ssd 500gb
in nov 2015 its work very fine. i can play 8 until 2 days.
but now (jan 2016 feb 2016) i don't know what should I do.
Windows 10
Processor : Intel(R) Core i7-4710HQ CPU @2.50GHz 2.50Ghz
Ram : 8 GB
GPU: GeForce GTX 860M
Edit : Solve!
in task manager. kill the process / end task of "Touch Keyboard and hand writing panel" than play your game.
ps: you must end task that process every time your computer restart or turn on.
